This option is used when rip cutting. To make fast
and precise rips cuts, pull
two release pins on the saw plate, rotate the saw
plate to the rip position,
align the pointer to the desired position on the
tape scale, tighten the carriage
lock and make your rip cut. This option is
available for the 52 and 64 inch
crosscut panel saws.
